Hey everyone,
First of all allow me to thank everybody at this forum including the staff and the members of course for all their great work and their generosity in helping people who seeks answers, i'm here guys concerned about a financial thing that bewilder my mind, anyway here is my situation : I had in my personal bank account a balance of 100016MAD = 12197$ but after paying the I-901 Sevis fee and the Visa application fee i only hold now a balance of 96847MAD = 11722.36$, while my Bank letter and bank statement shows a balance of 100016MAD = 12197$ i was wondering if is it okey to show up in the visa interview with my Financial Documents (Bank letter, Bank Statement) even if the balance on the documents is different than the balance i hold now ?
NOTICE : The minimum financial requirement of the college i intend to join is 10600$/year, so basically i didn't drop below the minimum .
Please agree my meaningful greetings and salutations...

I don’t think this will matter–everyone’s bank account balances vary over time, but you might get a better answer by posting on the International forum.

Bushanime, I process I-20 forms for my students to use for visa appointments. To my knowledge, having a bank account that is a bit lower today than it was when you got the document should not be a problem … the important thing is that you are able to show that you can cover the costs listed on your I-20.
Hello,
Thanks a lot for your replies, i really do appreciate your generous help, so from your words i conclude that i’am on the clear, Please agree my meaningful greetings and salutations…

Please do understand that no student is ever guaranteed a visa. Many times, visas are turned down by the embassy. It is possible that the decline in a bank balance could be an issue, but my suspicion is that the small amount yours declined coupled with the fact that it still is enough to cover your costs would probably not be a problem. I say probably, because I cannot guarantee how a particular agent at the embassy will view the situation.

Remember that there are a number of factors that go into the decision whether or not to grant a visa. Be sure to read everything carefully so that you are aware of the questions you will be asked and can prepare your responses. One of my students from a war-torn country was denied a visa this year. She had everything in order as far as I could tell. She wasn’t clear about exactly why she was denied. It might have been the falling value of her country’s currency, or the fact that many people were fleeing her country so perhaps they did not feel she still had strong ties to her homeland, or maybe it was something else entirely. All you can do in the visa process is prepare well. There are many internet sites that help students understand the visa process.

Hello,
Thanks a Lot Kelsmom, i really do appreciate your assistance, you are truely too kind, i’ll make sure to get enough informations concerning the F1 Visa Process, please agree my meaningful greetings and salutations…

please agree my meaningful greetings and salutations

bushanime, this sentence makes no sense in English, just so you know… I just hate to see someone repeating the same nonsense words over and over. I also advise you not to use the word ‘salutations’. It is not commonly spoken in America. Indeed it is only common in Nigerian email scams.

Thanks a lot BrownParent, just to let you know i’m not a Nigerian hahaha, and even if someone is Nigerian It doesn’t make a difference to me, we have all the same core .

Bushanime – please understand we are trying to help. It is just that the word “salutations” is used today mostly by a group of people that are trying to scam others. Most of those scams are coming from Nigeria.

I believe your phrase, “Please agree my meaningful greetings and salutations,” is intended to mean, “Thank you very much for all your help.” That is probably the phrase you should be using.

Thanks a lot for your help guys, thanks a lot cnp55, i will enlighten you about why i use the expression “Please agree my meaningful greetings and salutations” i can speak 3 Languages Fluently : Arabic, French and English, the french translation of my expression is : Veuillez monsieur agreez mes sinceres salutations et remeciements les plus fideles, which is a necessary step in every administratif message in French we call it " Expression de Politesse" so it did come to my mind why not insering this polite sentence into my messages wrote in english, and i believe there’s nothing wrong with it just cause a bunch of scammers are using it, this is just non-sense, anyway thanks a lot guys for your help i really do appreciate it .
