Financial Form

Did anyone else receive a financial aid letter to fax in their W 2s, 1099’s and tax forms yesterday? Im sending in but not anticipating any need based aid. I was wondering if it was something they sent to everyone.

I just got a letter from them.
They wanted to a tax transcript, a statement (again) saying my son had no income in 1995, and a dependent verification worksheet which I did not understand. It basically wanted the family members and ages. Very strange why that is needed. I thought the common app listed siblings and asked who was already in college or near college. Or maybe that was the FAFSA.

The admission results are so hard to wait for. This is the last school on the list.

Yes, it was odd since we linked our income tax and my son’s income tax on the FAFSA directly from the IRS site. the letter said they were missing some information, and needed his and our W-2 forms, a 1099 form and signed copies of our tax returns. Bentley will be our last college as well. The only other decision he’s waiting on is UCONN and I think that comes out this weekend. The only other school that had needed additional info besides the FAFSA and CSS profile was Fordham, and that was after they offered merit, but before they let us know that we didn’t receive need based aid. I was hoping for some aid since we have a daughter also attending a private university in her fourth year. All of the schools have offered merit scholarships so far, so perhaps if he hadn’t received them we would have received financial aid? Who knows. Still hoping for a miracle from Bentley!
