Email asking for tax forms that are on IDOC and I verified that they were sent to the school

We just received an email saying daughter’s financial aid application was missing 2015 tax forms and W2. They plainly show that they are on IDOC and I have the confirmation email that they were sent to Wesleyan. Daughter applied to 10 schools and we have not heard from anyone else that the financial aid app is incomplete. Anyone else have this problem?

I would recommend you call the FA office - they are very helpful. I am a non custodial parent and had to submit my returns which have never been done by 3/1. They were helpful and I managed to get everything to them a bit late.

Also log in into the wescheck portal and you will be able to track exactly what you are missing.

Finally, sometimes these emails are sent automatically - once you call them if they see it in idoc and they have mistakenly not marked it received in the system, they will be able to do so and get it corrected.

Basically dont sweat it, just call them and it should be fine

That is my plan - hopefully it’s just a clerical error. She got the same email 2 weeks ago (everything had been uploaded at that time) and she responded with that information. I just don’t want anything to stand in the way of her application. Thanks!

It does not hurt to fax the “extra” forms directly to the FA for peace of mind.

I spoke with them and they actually do have the forms. We shouldn’t have received an email. Thanks everyone!
