Financial Need as part of scholarship apps

<p>On most applications they ask for financial information, etc. Should I even both applying for any of these scholarships that use financial need as part of the application if my EFC is 29,000?</p>

<p>How do you know if you are eligibile for "financial need" in these scholarships? Do they want sub 10k EFCers?</p>

<p>if your EFC is higher than the cost of your school, then you probably will find it hard to argue that you have need- however, if it is lower, even if it is 30K, then you can still say you have need.
IMO anyway</p>
