Top 10 in the US:

Stanford

Harvard

Penn-Wharton

Columbia

MIT-Sloan

Chicago-Booth

Berkeley-Haas

Duke-Fuqua

Northwestern-Kellogg

NYU-Stern

Like it was predicted 3 years ago, Yale SOM will drop out of the top 10 and Berkeley-Haas will land in the elite 10.

Fuqua over Kellogg?
Clearly the ranking’s methodology is flawed to the point of irrelevance.
Not that anyone ever cared what the financial times said to begin with.

Get out of here with this week sauce.

leek sauce?

I agree; Kellogg has to be higher ranked than Fuqua. I even think it’s a solid top 5/6 in the US, which means it should be ranked higher than Berkeley-Haas. But a few years ago, 2 guys on this forum predicted Yale-SOM to land in the top 10 and violently argued that it would stay there forever and would even climb to reach in the top 3, whilst Haas, to their prediction, would remain outside of the top 10 in the US and would even slip out of the top 20. Now that I’m vindicated by this very ranking which they used to support their so-called, “prediction”, I feel I just kicked their a$$es.

IMO, Fuqua is equal to Kellogg. The only upside of Kellogg is its close proximity to a large employer market. Other than that, the quality of students, employment opportunities, and professors are similar at the two schools. Kellogg is becoming a consulting school, with 40% going to consulting. Nothing against consultants, but having 40% consultants in the class really decrease the diversity of thought.

What is surprising is IIM-A over Chicago.

Also, I think YSOM is a pretty good school, although not top 10. I think after YSOM built its new building, it will improve its atmosphere.

Says the Duke grad…

“Fuqua is equal to Kellogg.” – NO; Not likely to be true.
