Finding a college/ university with majors in Physical Therapy and Animation/Illustration

Alrighty! I’m new here so please excuse me if I’m in the wrong section. I thought college search was best since i have no idea what college i should go to yet. Anyways a little background on myself. I’m a Junior in high school. I have taken all of the art classes provided at my school and I am going to take saturday high classes at art center college of design this spring! So my interest is animation/illustration. I love how the different parts of animation come together to make a show what it is like adventure time or movies like Toy Story. I’m not sure what part of animation I want to be in, but I do know character design is something I want to look into.

Now here’s my problem…

Getting a job in the arts seems to be really difficult for some reason. I’m always hearing things like I graduated college and was unable to find work or im unemployed at the moment. Me being a bit worried, ive also decided that physcial therapy is an interest of mine as well if I wanted a stable job. I’ve always wanted to help people and it just seems like the perfect job to be in. Problem is that most schools I’ve searched do not have physical therapy and animation as majors/minors.I know USC does I believe, but I’m trying to look for colleges out of California. If someone could give me some advice and help on this I will be overjoyed. I dont know how many questions I’ve put on yahoo answers and got 0 replies. It hurts honestly. So if you could help me that would be awesome thanks!!

Physical Therapy is actually a graduate degree. You do not need to get a "Pre-physical Therapy degree to be accepted into a Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Many undergraduates study biology, exercise physiology, kinesiology or a number of other degrees. What you do need to be sure of is that you complete the course work required to be admitted to a DPT program. I would look at universities that have the minor you are looking for then contact their biology dept. and ask them about course work for pre physical therapy. I am guessing that most will be familiar with what you need and willing to help you.
