I know that having such a large college student population in and near Boston/Cambridge is a huge plus in most respects, but does it make it difficult to find internships and jobs? Can any Wellesley students, alums, or parents weigh in on this? (Or anyone else who may have insight

My D graduated from Wellesley. Her internships were always during the summer, but only one was in Boston. I don’t know if too many students do internships during the school year, but I don’t think she would have been able to handle it and the course work. She also needed to work part-time while she was attending school. Wellesley was helpful to her in finding internships.
