Finding Obscure Web Scholarships

Have you ever found any obscure scholarships through searching the web?

I've found about two and won about $1000.

bump.....I've actually found more than two.

Congratulations! Great sleuthing!

What scholarships did you find, and how'd you find them?

Oh, I found them through Google.com. Here's one of them: http://franktfairfoundation.org/ . I can't disclose the names of the others because I will be applying for them next year.

Thanks for replying, and best of luck with this year's scholarship applications!

here a site that lists unusual scholarships.....franging from fat ppl to short ppl

http://www.finaid.org/scholarships/unusual.phtml

oops.... ranging*

haha, i think it's funny that the National Rifle Association Scholarship is right above the Mule Deer Foundation Scholarships (established to conserve mule and blacktail deer).

or the vegetarianism one right next to the beef one? thanks for the link, ubiquity...although i don't qualify for any of them (i'm veg, but not an activist about it), they certainly were entertaining!

Yah I'm a veg. too, but I haven't really started a club or anything..
