NY Times article on hard-to-fill scholarships

<p>I posted this in the Financial Aid & Scholarships forum, but I figured that parents would enjoy reading the article too. I always thought that this type of scholarship was apocryphal.</p>

<p>I don't know why the link isn't working! Here it is again. It seems to be working, at least for now.</p>

<p>That story was run locally because the Leavenworth scholarship apparently works at U. of Michigan. However, the financial aid director said they have no record of it.</p>

<p>interesting, anyone got a list of these obscure scholarships?</p>
