Finding private student loan for community college

I'm looking for a 7k private loan. My mom will cosign for me to get it. I live in FL and she lives in WA. Edison Community College cancelled my grants because they have a rule where a student can't go over 90 credits and I have 92 credits. This coming semester was my last semester. I changed majors in the middle of my attendance so that's why I have so many credits.

I can't use astrive, citibank, chase, sallie mae, or Suntrust. Astrive, Chase, Citibank, and similar don't list my school. Are there any other companies I can try? I don't understand why astrive doesn't list my college if it's a private loan.

File the FAFSA. Although you may not be eligible for grant aid, you would still be eligible for stafford loans (some where between 4500-5500). If your mom is not eleigle for a PLUS loan, you would be eligible for an additional unsubsidized stafford loan.

I think that your bigger problem is going to be if you will have a guaranteed transfer once you finish (as of right now you have credits where you would have completed your junior year).

the college is a community college and I've already spoken with 4 year colleges and there are a few credits that won't transfer but I will be in my junior year.

I already filed the fasfa but the college itself has a >150% rule and it only takes 60 credits to get an AA degree. I still have 2 classes left to get my AA degree and they're refusing to give me the federal money. I even signed a MPN for the stafford loan so I don't know what happens with that money because it normally was given to the college.

Are you considered in-state?

The in-state tuition is $2120 a term. Are you working? Since your mom lives in WA how are you supporting your self?
