I've been accepted Oxford and am about 95% sure that I'll end up there in the fall. I plan to major in Psych and do the Premed track. I would like to finish in 3 years, by taking summer classes at home at my local CC in Florida. Has anyone tried this and Is this possible? Would the credits transfer?

You must take your last 64 credit hours at Emory. That means your last two years in most cases. You must request permission to take courses outside of Emory, even before you have 64 credit hours. Practically, this means that you can only take summer school (unless it’s at Emory or abroad on an Emory-sponsored abroad program) the summer after your freshman year. After that, they won’t allow it.

So yes, it’s possible to graduate in 3 years, especially if you come to Emory with AP, IB, or other credit. However, why in the world would you want to? You only get 4 years of college (5 if you’re lucky). Enjoy it.

Its possible, I am planning on doing that. I came in with 24 hours AP (I only accepted 20 hours) and I plan on graduating in 3 years. My 4th year, I plan on studying abroad at the London School Of Economics (one of the best and most renowned Economics/Social Sciences Schools in the World). After a year at LSE, I plan on starting medical school.
