First all nighter. evar.

Dunno. I just wanted to say I pull my first allnighter ever trying to finish my Presidential Scholar application. I had to write all 6 essays in the last 13 hours. Anyone else?

Oooh. Ouch. Congratulations on qualifying, though. That's amazing =)

you haven't pulled a single all-nighter in four years of high school?!

I didn't bother with Presidential Scholars. Figured the 16-hour paperwork burden would be better spent goofing off. And just when I thought, "yeah, maybe that could be fun" it was Monday and I hadn't asked teachers for recommendations or anything, so I was like "yeah, screw it."

haahaha that stinks..

I have to pull an all-nighter tonight. I have to write an English paper, a chemistry lab, and three history papers (one longer that I've written half of, two shorter that I haven't started) and I'm really not looking forward to it. I bought a 12-pack of Coke Zero to get me through it.

Yyyiikes. How did you end with THREE history papers? We have to write DBQs for HW sometimes... but never -three- !!!

Hee, I now hate Coke because I associate it with really painful, late nights.

^ I was sick recently and missed a week of school. I have a ton of work to make up, and the fact that my body is still protesting doesn't get me much pity (in the form of extensions)... :( Technically I have a Theory of Knowledge paper to write as well, but I doubt I'll get around to that tonight.

My sympathies =( At least it's almost Friday...

(the fact that the end of the week is nearing actually depresses ME, because I'm in the middle of February vacation... and it's almost over... and I still have to finish my science fair project, read three chapters for APUSH, write papers for French and English, and complete my 'goal' of finishing The Sound and the Fury before the week is up. Yucky.)

ay carumba!!! Gosh that is tough, I've never pulled an all nighter, but I have had my share of three hours of sleep b4. Wow good for you guys!!!!! actually it isnt good at all, but having the nerve and will power to do it, kudos to all of u guys!

I pulled two all-nighters last week because I had a sudden rush of wanting to get ahead, so I purposely spent two nights doing just homework.....call me crazy.

But on Monday (day off) I spent all night finishing my online course (btw Algebra 2 is so hard to work on online), and on Tuesday I woke up and could barely go to school. I slept through most of my classes and got yelled at a couple of times by my teachers haha.

All-nighters aren't fun, but if I can get a week's work done in one night, then I could enjoy the rest of my nights.

Wow, I did the same thing last night. Freakish...

^ Referring to doing a Presidential Scholarship app btw...

It's not "nerve and willpower" so much as desperation.
I should disconnect the internet... those email alerts are so distracting.

when i do decide to do homework & pull an all nighter, i just drink coffee aaall night, pass out at somepoint, wake up grumpy in the morning, and sleep through the day at school.

it's really not effective.

Kudos to you for actually spending time on your essays. My essays were repetitive, and I did them all in three hours yesterday afternoon. To make up for all that work (I mean, it is during vacation, after all), I didn't do anything productive today. Haha.

But I have a research paper for Euro due in two weeks that I should be taking notes for. Oops.

At least you guys have a vacation in February... after winter break, we don't have anything until mid-March. :(

I have a feeling I'm going to pull an all-nighter tonight. I really don't want to though, because I still have some more lacrosse tryouts tomorrow, but my motivation gauge is totally EMPTY. =[

I might pull an all-nighter tonight too, even though I don't have that much work. By the time it's 2:00 am, and I'm still doing work, I usually don't even bother to go to sleep.
