First college acceptance letter

today, I got my first college acceptance letter. It was one of my easier colleges to get into, but that's not the point. The point is that i'm into a college, and i'm happy that I know i'll be attending somewhere next year. So, I want to know, CC, what was going through your mind when you got your first acceptance letter, or decision letter, for that matter?

My first decision letter was a rejection from Elon. So I was complete heartbroken for a little bit. Then about a week later I got my first acceptance from Greensboro College. Then the rest rolled in, all of them except for one in a span of about 3 weeks. Then I got my other rejection letters, but I was so excited about all the great choices I had and had already moved on to financial aid and scholarships, so this didn’t bother me very much.

I only applied to one university (my first choice) and got in. I applied really young (15) so when I finally got my acceptance letter a few months later I was beside myself with happiness, and albeit a little bit of fear. But over all I was to pumped to really care. Happiness, elation, ecstasy, pumped, and whatever other synonyms you have for over the moon. It was a great day :)
