first few days at Princeton are amazing, but...

it really does depend on your self discipline. I'd say that I'm pretty surprised how social it is, but also surprised how many parties are going on in the first few days... i think it's cool to hit the street/dorm parties just for the experience, though.

so far it's, it's been a blast. a lot of the dancing and singing groups are excellent and for any freshman next year, definitely go. i know many kids who pass these up for parties, but i don't recommend it. um, you can party later ... but, you can't see sympoh break a flare every day. ;)

the cool thing is that no one has really talked about past scores at all, it's just like we're here and the chosen...

props to the dining staff. i think the food is great... definitely go for ruben sandwiches... and as far as how organized it is, the mixers/socials hosted by Princeton are really well done... I haven't gone hungry, yet, and I generally eat throughout the day a fruit or something... there's also a transfat free zone in Rocky, although, I'm not sure so much about some of the spread that is used... although, if it's less than 2% or 1%, i remember that the US gov't allows it to go by as 'transfat free'...

i can't really think of anything else...

Just to be clear, classes haven't started yet...

How did everyone like the third annual Pre-Rade?
I heard every class had their own a tee-shirt.

They were out of adult larges when I got there, but that's okay, since our shirts weren't that excellent anyway.

The Class of 2010 had the "Jersey Frosh" shirts and the 2008 had a tiger wrapped around the side. I'm not sure of the others.
If anyone doesn't like them I'll buy them off of you:)

I dont particularly appreciate being called "Farm Fresh", if you know what I mean.

yea, still, orientation week is pretty crazy though...

excellent game of real capture the flag, many missed out on a ton of fun... we divided the huge front (I guess northern region) to the 5 residential colleges...

ohh... yeah I completely forgot about Capture the Flag. I went to Frist with some friends of mine, and we were all taking turns playing the piano. Then around 1:15 this random drunk guy came over and started playing Chopin completely brilliantly, and was basically ten times better than I am sober. Only at Princeton...

Wow I was really afraid at the title because I was afraid it was going to turn into a downward spiral explaining how Princeton isn't great after the first couple of days.

Glad to see you '10ers are having fun!

Capture the flag was ****ing fun. It was soo easy not to get caught and as usual- Wilson kicks Asss!!!

the campus is work hard, player harder

there wasn't much going on wednesday night (classes started on Thursday), other than maybe a few (small) dorm parties

just shows how focused we are...

I was ecstatic when I saw the design for the pre-rade shirt. I myself am a farm girl and have the legitimate "jersey fresh" t-shirt with me. It made me so happy to have a little taste of home.

Capture the flag was amazing, and my muscles still hurt from running into 4 people all at once. Rocky was in the center of everything so everyone was ganged up against us constantly.

I love seeing the groups perform and being involved but I'm not a partier. I've only been to the street once and tend to be really really tired by 12 AM anyway. What can I say, I'm a loner by heart :p.

I must say my dorm room is ridiculously dusty. Every night I have to wipe down my computer and my allergies have been nasty WITH an air filter. But that's really the only problem.

The 09 shirts (Jersey Frosh) were designed by the same kid who does the Op Art page in the Prince every friday.
