<p>I am very interested in Princeton and I know I have the stats to get in but I'm an outgoing girl who loves to have FUN! Are there enough people at Princeton who enjoy having a good time at parties involving alcohol? I read a lot about the eating clubs but do freshman get to drink there too?!</p>

<p>I guess it's cool to castigate people for being ignorant about the college admissions process; apparently you can only be smart if you understand some arbitrary process established by rich institutions.</p>
<p>RebelliousXO asked a candid question that can easily be answered. From what I've read, Princeton supports all-types of fun, including parties that imbibe. Princeton isn't Arizona State, but it's not completely dry either. If you go looking I'm sure you'll find something you'll like.</p>
<p>Assuming this is real, I really do not think you'll have anything to worry about beyond actually getting into Princeton: it's not that predictable.</p>

<p>Study hard, party hard. I know kids that were almost constantly wasted freshman year...not that waking up hung over every day makes studying any easier. There are plenty of people who can balance partying and studying though.</p>
<p>hehe... u dont rely hav to worry abt that... i visited p ton for 3 days in pre frosh weekend and went to ohh... 3 alcohol parties... thats not to say that the ppl are fun (theyr more like the image i hav of the ppl in gossip girl) but no alcohol is definetly not somethin ur gonna hav to adjust to</p>
<p>I recommend taking a look at Dartmouth if you are interested in partying. Princeton and Dartmouth have a really similar undergrad. experience in terms of education, as far as I know. That is, if this is serious.</p>

<p>I think they're being hostile because the arrogance of thinking you are so qualified to get into Princeton that your admission isn't even a CONCERN - that's a bit laughable. And annoying, since many highly qualified candidates don't get into top schools. </p>
<p>As for the party scene - it's there. In fact, alcohol is generally free for freshman, since they're able to get into most street parties but don't pay the dues that clubs buy the alcohol with. So don't worry, that's the least of your concerns.</p>

<p>What's wrong with being confident in yourself? I can say I have the stats to get in (I scored at or above middle 50% on standardized tests, my gpa falls at or above that same range, etc... not really an amazing accomplishment) but doesn't mean I think I will... behh I just feel like arguing tonight. Anyways, I think we should all keep an open mind and not jump to conclusions so quickly.</p>
