<p>How much is first generation considered? Does it really help that much? Is it at the same level as ethnic status or no?</p>

<p>It helps especially since in most cases it goes along with being low-income and many times URM. I’m not sure how to quantify “help” but all things being equal a first gen applicant would get the nod.</p>
