Should I put two languages as first language (I’ve been in contact with English and Portuguese since I was little)? I’m kinda scared that that would cause some confusion.
FWIW, when I applied to college last year, I listed 3 languages as my first language, since my father spoke one language to us kids, my mother spoke a second, and the language of my country of birth was a third. If you can’t remember a time when you did not speak the language, I’m not sure how you can tell which one was first, but for this purpose, it really doesn’t matter.
