What are some things you guys wrote about?

i wrote about swing dancing! what about you?

It’s similar to any other univeristies application’s short answer questions, so I’ll take a stab at it.

Depending on the school, I’ll either write about my community band, my health awareness club, or learning new piano songs on my own.

wrote about playing beach volleyball at miami beach on weekends :]

I wrote about swinging.

cooking. ^_^

skateboarding. 360 flips ftw

I wrote about my mud collection.

I do this thing called “cold water shower” where, if any of my friends are taking a shower, I take a bucket of ice-cold water and dump it on them. It has become a frustrating yet funny tradition that we all partake in. Lock the doors when you shower. :-)

^
That’s what I wrote about btw. Don’t think I needed to clarify that, but, you know, for the occasional Harvard idiot that stumbles in these boards. (total joke)

Knitting! ^.^

haha, i hope this doesn’t sound terrible, but i’m quite relieved to hear what everybody wrote about. i know it’s a stereotype, but i was afraid everyone would write about doing research or programming computers or something. it’s good to know that you all wrote about things that are really FUN!

I could’ve done that ^ and I do “do it for the pleasure of it” but not all the time. I think its better to be as honest as possible and show MIT what kind of person you are.

i wrote about pingpong

I would crack up if someone wrote about masturbation

quiteVALid, yay! What are you working on right now? I’m making the second of a pair of socks as I type. (They’re Sunshines – you know of Cookie A?)

I would write about going on safaris in the nearby nature preserve.

Of course I know of her! She’s one of my favorite designers. I love her Potamutus (sp?) sock pattern (haven’t made them yet). I did make a pair of Twinkle Toes a while back, using some yarn that I dyed with turmeric.
Right now, I just finished a crisscross hat (my own pattern- pretty much a basic hat using the royal quilting stitch for the body). I also just started a “secret” pattern that I plan to submit to Knitty.com (if it comes out well). And of course, I have a few hibernating patterns, namely a pair of lime green verigated Jaywalker socks and a FIRST Robotics-themed sweater.
I also have several holiday knitting patterns in my queue… and Irish Hinkiing scarf for my dad, a Quant (entrelac winter headband) for my mom, a “sock” bookmark for my cousin, and a mohawk hat for my brother.

I love knitting!!

Ps. Are you on Ravelry?

i wrote about playing pick up soccer matches at my neighborhood park on weekends

@BuddyMcAwesome

That would be freaking hilarious! HAHAHAHA! The look on the reader’s face would so be a Kodak moment. Holy crap LOL.
