sup homies,
i applied rd like a month ago, and I'm probably one of the first people to apply rd. is this good or bad? do they kick first people to make room for last people?
thanks,
your boy g

What? Are you trolling?

@WritersBlues Are you sure?
@AnnaTheGreat No, I submitted it a month ago. Congrats on Harvard by the way. I think this is like the 3rd time I’m saying this lol.

I’m sorry it’s the first time I see your congrats. Thank you so much!

But with all due respect, I think it’s very stupid to think that they would “kick first people to make room for last people”

@AnnaTheGreat Not literally, as in “wait for the best” while reviewing. So like, if my stuff is mediocre, they’ll move on and find better ones.

It doesn’t matter when you send your application in. They start reading it as soon as your folder is complete, but it is read by 3 readers and doesn’t go into selection committee until it has been read by all 3. Yours might be read first by one reader but later for another. In otherwards it doesn’t matter when they receive your application as long as it’s not late.

Well, I’m sure it has no effect on your chances whatsoever.
