First Semester GPA?

<p>So I've just about completed my first semester of college year... and my GPA's not looking to hot. I think it'll come out to be ~3.3. I really feel like I worked hard.</p>

<p>I've grown up with such a focus on academia and doing well in school that this semester's kept me up so many nights thinking about how to explain my grades. I understand it's not the end of the world, but what are your opinions on how I did?</p>
