<p>Hey guys, I'm new here but I was just wondering how much first semester senior year grades matter/mid year report? </p>
<p>Some people have told me it doesn't matter at all, and some people tell me that it can be a slight deciding factor. </p>
<p>Any input?</p>
<p>For EA/ED/early rolling, schools will not see sr yr grades, for RD they will see first semester and they are a factor.</p>
<p>Yeah, my senior schedule is still pretty competitive, but I’m only applying Early Action to two schools. Thank you for the insight!</p>
<p>Also, your school may report your senior grades even for EA/EDI. I believe mine does - it just says Senior Year (in progress) with my current grades, class rank, etc. It’s all realtime.</p>
<p>Also, ED II is much like RD in regards to senior grades - it is reported since ED II is due Jan 1.</p>
<p>Thank you very much guys! I will definitely step up the game and make sure my senior year grades are still spectacular. I had no clue colleges took them that seriously.</p>
<p>1st semester grades count for RD. Best to keep working hard until you get accepted somewhere.</p>
