Do regular decision schools see your first semester senior grades? I did sort of poorly this semester :/

Yeah, your school counselor has to turn in a mid-year report with all your 1st semester senior year grades by ~Feb. 1st.

I feel your pain :/

Unfortunately they do. Your counselor will have to submit something called a “Mid-year Report” to all your regular decision schools prior to February 1st.

Does senior year have a large impact?

^I’ve heard that it doesn’t provided there isn’t a SIGNIFICANT drop. For a 4.0 student, I would think that 3 or more B’s, or a C, would hurt you. But I don’t know by how much. I’m trying to figure out the same thing.

If you’ve already been accepted to a school EA/ED, midyear reports are just a “check up” on your grades. For RD schools, they are considered seriously as part of your application. After all, senior year is usually when kids are taking the heaviest and most college-prep-oriented courseload.

man dont worry about it, if the rest of your resume is fine.
