First time Doing SATs - For College in US (I'm Out of US)

Hey,
So I'll be doing my first EVER SAT this december or so, and I plan to get a good score so I can attend California State Unis or so.

This is my first ever SAT, which makes me pretty nervous. I just bought the online course and plan to buy the book + dvd. Is there any book that actually EXPLAINS All the math?
Last year, in advanced math I have learnt factoring and several other stuff, was fun and I have experience ,I believe in the US, at grade 11 you guys learn the same thing don't you?
Now I'm learning Induction (gr 12).

What do you guys suggest, do you think 2 months , 30mins-1hr a day (ofc, last 15 days or so will be more study, obviously) is enough?

Any Tips etc? I'm doing a lot of research online, just don't want to mess up.

If I don't do good in my 1st SAT test (December), can I take a brand new one in January? Will the College ever know that I took 2 SAT tests?

Thanks!

Math is never a problem for me, so I never study for it. But if you’re looking for books, you should check out this thread:

2 months is enough to quickly pump up your score, but it mostly depends on your starting level and dedication.
Colleges will decide whether they allow superscoring, or they require all scores sent to the school. For more information, check out the school’s website and collegeboard’s score sending website. Also, read through silverturtle’s guide.
