Hi, I just have a quick question concerning the GPA determination for law schools. Do they look at all four years equally, or do they place relatively more or less weight on first and/or fourth year grades?

Thanks guys.

They look at your cumulative GPA, but they also like to see a positive grade trend.

But for fourth year, what's the time lapse/gap between applications and the completion of your fourth year GPA?

You can usually begin submitting applications Oct/Nov and most deadlines are Feb/March (though some aren't until much later in the spring or even summer). If you apply while still an undergrad, you'd have 6-7 semesters of grades (so 0-1 semesters from 4th year), depending on how early you submit your application.
