Does anyone know if a 3 credit hour First Year Seminar will count as part of the required 30 credit hours to transfer into UGA? My son completed his first semester at another university with 15 hours that included this FYS. Then in his second semester had to withdraw after an accident had him in the hospital and recovering from surgery. He’s planning to take 15 hours during the summer semester, then apply to UGA by the August 15 deadline for spring transfer. I’m just concerned the FYS may be a problem for admission.
