@kmalin I called admissions and they said since they already mailed out my letter they could send me a pdf of what they send out

@hopeanne Students in the US only get packet in mail or a letter in mail. (packet for acceptance) International students get email and currier mail.
No one should be giving up hope. Their emails always said mailed out by April 1st. So just hang in there!! I keep telling my D … its not a packet but its not an envelope… (I have been stalking the mailman everyday since last week)
BTW - she was given an FIT email and her Pay-Bill or view E-bill has been set up. Go to Online Information Systems …then personal information and E-mails. I don’t remember where we saw the pay bill option. but also note that things get set up by different departments and companies and they may not be up to date with everyone yet, so its not a sign if you don’t have it yet
I called and had an email sent. I’m an FBM transfer and got accepted!
If you want to call just say, “I was told that I would have a decision by April 1st and if i didn’t hear back by then I could call and ask for an email to be sent”. Have your FIT ID # and name ready. You’ll hear back within 5-10 min of calling them!
make sure you check your junk mail for the email!

@anxiousmom I’m a US student. They told me they can send the email as long as a decision has already been made, you just need to call and ask.

Thanks for all the updates. D also now has an FIT email showing and also loan information (which wasn’t there over the weekend), and it says something about needing to accept the financial aid award. Mailman better come through today!
Hi everyone! I’m also anxiously waiting as everyone else. I live in FL and submitted my application mid to late january so not sure if that effects my decision. From what I’m seeing on Instagram and just going through the #FITWelcome tag I saw a lot of NY people received theirs Saturday so that’s just in-state and pretty recent so i’m trying not to worry. I just want to know if I call today would they tell me if I got in if my letter hasn’t been sent?
Got waitlisted for Film & Media 
honestly I think they should ask for a portfolio for that major because I have a lot of film work to show

i just called and they said i should be getting something any day now. @bluemmylou i went to a thing at fit and they said only 25 people get into film & media !! so i wouldnt be too upset bc im expecting to not get accepted at all

Hey guys!! So I called them and got an electronic version of the decision letter!! He told me the letter was sent out physically around the 28th, and that since the letter was in the system, he could email it to me. I’m from NJ and I got in for AAS photography! Before I called, I noticed my financial aid package with work study and grants + whatnot was out on the portal as well. Good luck to everyone else!
@mgabriellax don’t be nervous!! They just ask for your FIT ID# and as long as your decision is in the system, the email gets sent to you within 5-10 minutes. He told me I should be receiving something in the mail soon, and I asked if I could get a copy of it through email hahaha.
i called and they emailed it to me. i didn’t get in and i don’t know what to do with myself. i’m being dramatic rn but god it sucks lol
i’m surprised no one has metioned that they are weary about getting a decison today because it’s april fools day lol cause if i get in i may not believe it lol
