Fit for Cornell?

Hey guys, thanks a lot for reading my post. I was wondering what my chances are for admission for Cornell's engineering department.

SAT
CR-740
M-680 (ouch! I know I'm better than that!)
W-710

ACT
E-35
M-33
S-29
R-29

SAT subject tests
Math 1-710
Chem-730
Math 2-???

My standardized test scores are probably the weakest part of my app. Does my ACT score in math make up for my weak SAT score?

I took all difficult classes offered to me with the exception of AP Lit and AP Comp sci

GPA: 98.6

AP's
USH-4
Chem-4
Physics-Mechanics
Physics-E+M
Calculus AB (highest math offered)
Stats
Psychology

The rest of my classes have been on the Honors level.

I have quite a few EC's...to spare you the agony of reading them all, here are the biggies

Cross Country-Captain
Model Congress-President
NHS
NLHS
Jerseymen: Traveling History Club
LOTS of charity work

Essays: Rated as excellent by my English teachers

WORK EXPERIENCE
I worked for an electrical engineering firm assembling radio frequency generators for two years. I am soon to be moved to the test department. In addition, I am going to be part of a team creating a lean production software for our manufacturing process.

I forgot to mention: I am from NJ and my school does not rank. I would guess top 10/180 if I had to.

LOL i dont mean to offend, but literally everyone on this forum seems to have “excellent essays and LOTS of community service” on their apps. However, its good u mention ur work experience, it definitely makes you stand out from the thousands of applicants going for engineering.
As for standardized tests, ur CR+M SAT is a 1420, which while certainly is competitive, is average for cornell’s eng and AS departments. Ur ACT is a little better at about 32 composite, but they only look at one or the other so if ur rlly concerned about ur SAT math score, dont send SATs in.
Overall i think these schools are always reaches no matter how strong ur app is, but without hooks (legacy, URM, sports, etc.)/extraordinarily high numbers, ur chances r about just as good as those of other top decile high schoolers applying.
