Fitness & Swim Tests

<p>Could anyone give me some details on the Hamilton fitness and swim tests (what is required, how long you have, etc). I can swim well enough, but I can't float on my back, so backstrokes are out, and I have trouble with some other strokes as well. Will this be a problem in passing the test?</p>

<p>The swim test is 4 lengths of the pool- any stroke you like, doggy paddle included. I’m sure you won’t have any problems at all. If you were to fail it you’d have to take a swim class as one of your 3 required PE classes.</p>

<p>The fitness test is a mile run, situps, and pushups. IIRC, they score it via points, meaning I can do maybe 5 solid pushups but since I ran an 8:30 mile I was fine.</p>
