Fletcher MA/MD

Hi there. This is a general question for anyone in the know.

I know that the Tufts University Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy offers a five-year joint program with Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM) that lets students graduate with both an MD from TUSM and a Masters in International Relations from Fletcher. MD/MA Fletcher School - School of Medicine - Tufts University

My question is, for anyone who may know about this, how competitive is admission to the program, and how competitive is the program itself? How prestigious is it (i.e. its reputation)? And this may be a stretch, but what do the graduates usually pursue? It lists possibilities on the linked page but I'm wondering where the bulk of the MA/MDs actually go.

ohh what exactly is this program offering? you become like a doctor and a lawyer?

No, that would be a MD/JD program. It’s exactly what it says, you get two degrees in five years: Doctor of Medicine and Master of Arts in International Relations.

ohhh got it. that sounds pretty interesting. would somebody with that kind of degree also practice as a doctor in actual medical fields…say like a surgeon or something?
