If I got an unweighted of 2.5 (2.8 weighted) in freshmen year, 2.7 in sophomore year, and 3.5 (3.8 weighted) in junior year? My unweighted GPA now is 2.9 while my weighted is 3.1. And I'm not done with senior year yet so I'm hoping on bringing my unweighted GPA up. Do I still qualify for a 75% paid scholarship? Also...do they look at your weighted or unweighted GPA?

Bright Futures weights the grades on their own system. You also have to have a certain SAT score of 970 or ACT of 20, and I believe the GPA is 3.0. You can find all that info on the web floridastudentfinancialaid.org.

So do you still think I have a chance by senior or not?

If you do good in your senior year you should have a good chance if your SAT/ACT scores are also ok. You do not need comunity service for the mid level award. Remember it is not a 75% award anymore, it is paid at $95 per credit hour.

bellaoh,
Go to FACTS dot org and check your Bright Futures gpa. This is updated 3 times per year. The current GPA should include your grades through 1st semester of this year. Remember–only academic classes will improve your Bright Futures GPA. They will use your 4 “best” English credits, 4 “best” math credits (algebra 1 and above), 3 best science credits, and 2 best foreign language credits (in the same language). You will just need to meet all requirements by the end of your senior year. Good luck!
