Florida School of the Arts

Hi,
I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I searched around and didn't find anything about it. However, like many people on this board I am interested in becoming a Musical Theatre major. I live in Florida and one school that really impressed me recently at a College Fair was Florida School of the Arts (or FloArts). I am currently a Junior in high school and I would like to know if anyone can tell me a little more about it. Any thoughts about the campus? It's curriculum, the professors, any opinion you might hold. It would help a lot.

Thanks

I will be going to FloArts 08/09. The MT program is performance oriented, and I can get perform as a freshman. It is a two year program, located at St. Johns River Community College in Palatka, FL. Florida School of the Arts

The plan is to strengthen my skills, get my Associates degree, then transfer. The faculty is very impressive, and the facilities are great. Also, I can get two years of college done without killing my budget or taking on a lot of debt.

The only downside is the location, but everyone I've talked with says you are so busy with the program, you don't have time for much else.

This thread is over a year and a half old. How in the world did you come across it?

I had not seen anything in the threads, but the search pulled this up. I posted a reply to this in case they were still active on the board.
