I was extremely lazy during my first two years of high school, failing half my classes. I turned it around in the second half as an upperclassman and finished with a still very pathetic 2.0 GPA (but that was because of the damage done the first two years). Because I scored a 26 on the ACT and wrote an essay to my current University explaining how I changed, I found a school to take a chance on me for my freshman year of college. It's an actual University and not a community college so the coursework is pretty difficult.

I've completed two semesters of college now and have 30 credits and a cumulative 3.4 GPA with college-level coursework. The problem is, I really would like to attend Florida State University next year.

Will FSU accept me now that they've seen I've completely changed, or will my high school record still come back to haunt me if I apply? I've shown I can succeed in college. My second semester I earned a 3.7 GPA.
