I have immense trouble in focusing my tasks. I did watch several videos regarding to cease procrastination, didn't exactly benefit much. How do you focus, especially when you have a 6 year old running around the house everyday? Earplugs merely hurt my ears, maybe I should buy the ear plugs for shooting guns.

Tie and gag your 6 year old to a chair. Problem solved lol. Go to a quiet place...maybe not in your home, but like maybe a library???

I have a little sister around that age too, that's always running around with her very vocal friends :) I usually tell my mother to speak to her and tell them to stop. Or I put my headphones on and I listen to slow music, not anything with lyrics that stay in your head. It drowns the sound...

If your 6-years-old is just annoying you by walking in your room or something, you could always promise him/her that you play or do whatever he/she wants later if she lets you alone. It works with my little sister...

I go to the library where it is really quiet and there is really nothing to do except study (unless you are distracted by the allure of books, which sometimes afflicts me). I also have a huge procrastination problem, but I get through long assignments by completeing them in there.

completeing

completing

OP, i can feel your pain

I have certain classes that I'll study/do my homework in after school. I don't have any younger siblings, but at my house there's a lot of noise and a few people who don't know how to shut up/turn down their music. I know my public library doesn't close until 8:00 so I work there a lot of the time, or there's a nice park near my house with tables and rarely is there anyone there so I'll go there. It's easier just to find a quiet place out of the house than in it.

What I'd recommend: offer your 6-year-old sibling 75 cents to draw a picture of something. This should make him/her be quiet for a little while. If it continues, just decrease the amount of offered money. He/she should get tired after awhile.
