I was accepted to the Rose Hill campus, and have heard that in the past the food was ranked as some of the worst in the country, but they use a new provider now. Would anyone be able to speak to the quality of the current food? Thank you!
I know nothing specifically about the food at Rose Hill, but the old adage is, the better access you have to food, the worse the campus dining is. People complain all the time about the food at Georgetown, GW closed their dining hall, yet schools in remote locations like Hamilton and Bowdoin are said to have great food. Using that analogy, you could surmise the food at Fordham Rose Hill won’t be great!
Sorry this is late. Fordham switched dining providers last year due to complaints. As a current student, I think it’s fine. It’s not gourmet but everything is definitely edible, and they almost always have something I would eat. I’m at LC, too, so RH has more options and better hours.
I’m a freshman at RH this year. The food at the caf is inedible maybe 10% of the time, just fine 80% of the time, and actually good 10% of the time. That being said, there are many options around campus that take meal swipes which are a lot better than the caf.
Ok fordham is in new york city- walking distance from author ave. If you can’t find good food that’s you problem. All college food is not awesome, but at least you have nyc and all of it’s food options.
