Food/meal plans - sigh.

New dining options have been posted. If you've been following the Prince, you'd know that meal hours have been expanded, and we get meal blocks instead of weekly plans. The good: We don't waste the meals we pay for if don't use all of them in a week. The bad: As freshmen, we don't get points anymore, which basically limits us to dining halls and the occasional Frist latemeal, and for some reason there is now a mysterious one hour gap between the end of dinner and beginning of late dinners.

I kind of liked how it was before.

I prefer the previous plan too! I think the system with points is still more flexible though they may claim otherwise.

points is useless. it's basically cash stored on your card.

you can add points to your account with a credit card through the website anyways.

Since meals are no longer limited to specific weeks... anyone know whether we will be able to use meals from the blocks at Frist during spring break/Thanksgiving/Intersession? (It's not practical for us west coasters and internationals to go home every break.)

Oh wow that really sucks. I kinda lived off points this semester!
