Foot Bridge

The one near baker/olin/mvr. Is it me or does that bridge often shakes? My friend felt it too. it was really odd, it shook so much that i thought i was going dizzy and i grabbed onto my friend thinking that i was gonna fall down lol

haha yeah it shakes. the suspension bridge is even better....especially when drunk.

bridges do move.

and yeah, the suspension bridge really moves.

that was definitely not light lol. i felt like i was walking on a trampoline

Send an email to campus facilities, that does sound a bit odd.

it looks 100% steady when im not on it though and its only sometimes. i should test it by walking on other bridge haha. its kinda fun lol

I heard bridges are not supposed to be so rigid, 100% stiff. It's cuz they need to account for natural disasters (wind, earthquakes, and all the other fun stuff that comes :). But I guess the question is how hard does it shake? It seems a bit weird that the shaking would cause such degree of fear. I just hope I don't end up walking over that bridge at the wrong moment :()

bridges should indeed move

i know when you jump up and down on it, it shakes. pretty fun.

like this

ahhh we read about the Tacoma Narrows bridge in physics. Soley caused by wind...scary stuff

LOL nice bridge, thats so shaky! haha

going across the suspension bridge during rush with 100+ girls on it at a time with our heels on was an experience...lol

alcohol + heels + wind + suspension bridge = good times :-)
