How feasible is it to get tickets to one of the FSU home games? I know there is that 'virtual line' thing for students to trade in their coupons and I see the information at

http://seminoles.cstv.com/tickets/fsu-football-student-info.html

but I am wondering: Is there a charge for the ticket coupon book available to students? Should I choose a weekend when there is a home game and try to make hotel reservations now? How crazy is Tallahassee on the weekends of the (non-UF) home games? Any information will be appreciated!

The hotels fill up months in advance and frequently double the rates plus require a two-night stay. Make reservations now. Consider staying in Perry or points out of town to minimize the expense.

The best way to get tickets for non-students is probably to buy season tickets and gradually improve your seat location over time. It'll cost not only the ticket price but also the required donation which exceeds the ticket price to keep your seating preference.

Bottom line - It's great, it's fun and exciting but it's expensive. Not to mention all the FSU stuff you'll then start buying and all the fun you have teasing the Gators (when we win).
