With #21 Auburn losing and Michigan winning with ease, I think Michigan will definitely be ranked come tomorrow.

We will be ranked yes, but as soon as we play a decent team, we will lose. This Michigan team is no different from last year’s team, our defense is shaky, our offense takes forever to get into a rhythm, Denard runs too much.

Michigan Football 2012, get ready, THAT is where it’s at.

I agree. Michigan is inconsistent and gives away too many big plays. Thankfully, our schedule is not that tough this year. I see us winning 8 games. We should be better in 2012 and much better as of 2013.

We better be… I remember watching the 1997 Rose Bowl at my Aunt’s house and I’m gonna be ****ed if Michigan doesn’t turn things around while I’m here.

^
Can’t be worse than my four years lol

Yeah I know… I feel real bad for the people who got in right after we stopped playing MICHIGAN football haha

Agree with enlightenedspot for 2011. We’ve been winning games but the talent level is not improved yet. The schedule in 2011 is relatively weak so I think we will have a decent record this year. Next year the schedule gets tougher. I think scottj19x89 is referring to the 1998 Rose Bowl. tOSU was in the 1997 Rose Bowl.

Although I agree that Michigan is not yet there, let us remember that they are three games into a new coach and system. It will take a few more games before those players really respond to the new system.

This said, credit should be given to the team. Notre Dame, as MSU found out yesterdsy, is no pushoever. They always have some talent, particularly in skill positions. That is not to say that they are a good team, but certainly a solid one. Western may be very average, but they have a good QB. Eastern is just no good, but then again, we beat them by 30 points.

2011 is going to be a “reloading” year for Michigan. I would be disapointed if we did not win at least 8 games, but I do not expect more than 9 wins. MSU, Nebraska and OSU will be the toughest games. Illinois, Iowa and Northwestern could be tough too. The remaining games should fall in the W column.

***! a couple weeks ago I thought it was 98, then I swear to God I saw something that said 97 (on some merchandise)… i dunno…
