When do they have to be picked up by? I have season tickets and my friends do not have season tickets. Can I still sit with them?

season tickets have to be picked up by thursday at 5 i believe. you won’t be a able to pick up tickets with your friend, and wont have a seat next to them if they get some of the leftover tickets. for this game, if your friend is willing to dish out $50, you can get them a seat next to you. additionally, if you know someone who isn’t going to the game but has season tickets, you can use their id to get their ticket, and you and your friend can sit together. if you cant get tickets together, you can try to sit with them and hope you don’t get caught entering the stands, or you can climb the seats to the other section, or whatever else. the lower you are, the more crowded it is, and the more likey it is you’re going to get caught.

This is incredibly dumb. If two (or more) friends want to sit together and they all have tickets, but only one has season tickets, all the friends can sit together and the one with season tickets has to sit alone?

sort of. its not a matter of intentionally separating the two. tickets are random and have to be picked up separately. logistically, assigning adjacent seats at separate intervals is impossible. the alternative is to have no assigned seats at all–something that would definitely not work all.

but yeah, thats how it ends up working out. usually people don’t have much trouble finding someone who will let them buy their ticket so you can pick up 2 adjacent seats though. its also really not that difficult to just move to a different section after you entered yours. just cross your fingers that the person with the ticket to wherever you’re sitting gives you a warning before they go to security about not having a seat.

Well kinda dumb, but how else is it gonna work? What kind of tickets does your friend have?

well anyone knows if the stadium has ‘general admission’ section where you can sit anywhere you want?

There is no general admissions section. I know that when d’s friends who haven’t gotten season tickets want to go to a game, they start searching thru her sorority and such for folks not going. They get their ID’s b4 Thursday and scan all the ID’s in together. That way they can all sit together. For instance, they grabbed about 10 ID’s this past Tues and scanned them. Now they are able to sit together. She doesn’t do her sorority block anymore because she was always so frustrated by kids squeezing in who didn’t have tickets to the block. Just made things uncomfortable all around. Now, they form their own “mini-block.” Not sure how it’ll be for S this year; he’s part of the law block, which I hear is one of the largest on campus. This is all quite different to UCF where he did his undergrad. There the student section is all general admission.
