I am an incoming freshamn at Boston College and I was on the athletic website today and it said that season tickets for football were now on sale. Can I order tickets once I am on campus or at orientation, or should I order them now. I am not quite sure about the whole procedure so any insight would be helpful.

aren't there special ticket packages for students? and can anyone post the football schedule? (are they playing ND this year?)

i don't know abuot private packages but i know that they aren't playing nd.

They are not playing ND this coming season (look at the schedule on the BC Athletics website), but they should be informing you of the student season tickets for football very soon. Our D will be a senior, and we have already ordered her tickets, but they were getting the orders from returning students first. You may want to contact the Athletic Department as to when you can order yours if no information has been sent! Our D didn't think she would enjoy the football games (went to an all-girls school, and had never been to a college football game)--but after just one game she was completely hooked!! She loves the Eagles, and we have even been to one of the bowl games!! (We love the Eagles, too!!!!!!!)

How does it work .. can you buy a ticket to one game instead of a package? and can you buy the tickets once fall semester starts or will they all be sold out by then?

its probably cheaper to buy the package right? and how good would the seats be?

Hi - You buy the tickets as part of a package. You have 7 home games for the upcoming season and I think the student tickets are slightly over $100 for the season. Your tickets will get you a seat in the student section, which is about one-quarter of the seats in the stadium. You do not have a reserved seat, so the die-hards get there early to stake out their seats. The games are so much fun. I think the first home game is 9/8 or 9/9 (Clemson) and BC plays VTech October 12th (Thursday night game). I strongly recommend you order your tickets. You will really get caught up in the school spirit. I think you will get a mailing from the school that will tell you how to buy your tickets on line. Returning students have already had the opportunity to purchase tickets. I don't think they sell out of student tickets, but I am not 100% sure of that. We have been going to at least one game a year for years, but last year we purchased season tickets and we have already bought our tickets for this fall. Just wear your Super Fan shirt (that you will get at orientation) and you will be all set for a great way to spend your Saturday afternoons this fall.

Tickets will sell out very late in the summer, so get them as soon as possible. You'll definitely want season tickets since most likely 90% of the people you become friends with at school will be going to all the games. The games are a blast and I would say that they are one of the best parts about going to BC. School spirit is huge at BC and this makes for an amazingly fun atmosphere on game day.
