I went online to get tickets, but then i paused and stopped cause I’m not exactly sure how it works. I realize I’m allowed only one ticket, so does that mean I won’t be able to invite friends to come see a game? It told me what section I would be in, so is there a student section, or would I be in just a section of the stadium, sitting by myself, surrounded by like alumni or little kids that are BC fans? Any insight on the ticket process would be helpful.

woah, where do you go to get tickets? I want seasons tickets in the student section, but I've gotten no info on it. Can you get them on agora?

Football tickets seat students in the student area on the lower tier of the stadium. I am not entirely sure if you can invite friends, but that doesn't seem to make much sense. I know BC sells individual football tickets and other students are going to sell their tickets as well. So with that, I'm pretty sure students from outside of BC can attend the games, but not entirely sure. You can always call student services and find out.

As for where to get the football tickets, I believe for incoming freshman, you should receive something in the mail about it.

youre not entirely supposed to invite friends. usually if you want to bring friends from other schools you get a student ticket off of someone and then say thye "forgot" their id or borrow someone elses. or just weasel your way into the student section after kickoff. otherwise they would jsut buy a regualr ticket and sit with "regualr" people. but who would wanna do that?

but student section is general admission (for students) and you sit whereever. this thread is reminding me that i STILL need to guy my season tickets

My son, an incoming freshman, received a letter yesterday that season tickets were now available. But does he really need to buy an entire seasons' worth?

He's not really big on football, but he would certainly want to go to a few games if some of his new friends are going. So my question is: how difficult is it to buy tickets for individual games once school starts? Do they sell out quickly, or can he just wait and see which games he wants to go to?

BC sells individual tickets to games; however, they sell out relatively quickly. Your son can also buy tickets off of another student that isn't going to the game. There usually will be plenty of tickets for every game, with the combination of students not willing to go and BC selling tickets; however, I think the BC v ND game will be sold out just based on the rivalry between the two schools.

H and I have season tickets and have the opportunity to buy extra tickets equal to the amount of season tickets we purchase. We were not offered the chance to purchase extra tickets for Clemson or Notre Dame and those are two of the big games this season (along with VT). To be perfectly honest, I think you just have to buy the season package so you can get the good games (plus the URI game for parents' weekend). Even if you don't love football, the atmosphere on game day is wonderful and you'll want to be in the stadium. There is nothing like a college football game on a Saturday afternoon. Go BC!!

So even though my on line student ticket purchase says lower level, section H, Row 21, seat 8, its still general admission, I can sit with student friends?

Yea, student tickets are general admission in the students area.
