Where semi-finalists announced?
I haven’t heard anything, I didn’t know semi-finalist had been announced
My daughter is semi finalist and her Skype interview is at 6pm today.
My son had his Skype interview two weeks ago. Two interviewers at the same time, so it was an interesting format but he enjoyed the experience.
Purdue4mykids - will you and your daughter be heading to Purdue this weekend? My son was admitted into FYE in October, but he’s still deciding…

@Purdue4mykids Yes, he’s still undecided. Purdue is currently #2 (despite both my hubby and I being Boilermakers). There’s an admitted student visit this weekend - an opportunity to askip more targeted Qs, etc. Pretty sure it’s a campus-wide event, not only for the Engineering folks.

@Jive123 ooh ok. My daughter has been to Purdue few times so she pretty everything. she was invited to engineering college back in Sept for a sleep over where she received a lot of information. She has already accepted the offer Purdue was her 1st choice and she has received presidential scholarship of 8k a year for 4 years. And hopefully she get the foot locker scholarship, she also a semifinal for another scholarship. I am hoping and have feelings she 's gonna pull it to get full cover.
My Daughter’s interview went well she didn’t think there were any tricky questions so hopefully she gets it.
Are you in state or out of state?
@Purdue4mykids We are out of state; he’s been offered substantially more merit aid elsewhere, at another OOS university, so it adds to the complexity of the decision.
Will your daughter continue in her sport(s) at Purdue?
@Jiva123 I can totally understand. BTW Purdue’s financial aid awards were sent out today or should I say yesterday. …lol. my daughter got total award amount $18500 (scholarships and grants) and $5400 loan offer. It’s a relief for us factory worker parents. Thanks to Purdue for r recognizing her hard work. She is still waiting for the honor school invitation.
Yes she is planning to continue her tennis but not for Purdue team. They will be joining the tennis club.
