Footwear in dorm showers

  1. Is it usually the case that Brown students (or students of any other selective university, for that matter) wearing crocs or flipflops outside dorms would wear the same footwear inside the shower booths? My memory might be deceptive but I think my freshman roommate did this with his crocs. He was very 'yuppie' in the sense that he was smart, did marijuana, and wore crocs all the way back to 2005. Is this a common thing?
  2. Is it more the norm that people would have shower shoes or shower flip-flops not worn anywhere else? To quote another previous post , " Not Brown-related but in general, I would think that people would have separate shower-shoes or flip-flops. My D had a pair of flip-flops that she used just for the shower and I just bought my son a pair of shower shoes at BBB that have drainage holes".

MODERATOR’S NOTE:
This is rather a weird question to revive. But since you’ve already asked the question, there is not reason to ask it again. Fell free to continue the discussion on your earlier thread. Closing this one.
