For all BIO self studying people!!!!

-Sign in here i
-if you taken a previous bio course in the 9th or 10th grade, and you have forgotten most knowledge.

-have purchased/ordered Barron's, PR's, Cliff's AP.

-Need to get over 650

-Is stressed out

-Have not received his books from Amazon yet.

Lets make this thread a way to keep everyone in check and give tips to each other.

I agree with all of those except I have my book!

ugh im stressing whether to go with literature or this

all of those above apply to me except for that I already have my book (PR and got Barrons from library)...
9th grade + forgot almost EVERYTHING, DESPERATE for 650+, kinda stressed out

By the time I finish my junior year, I will have the SAT II WH, US History, and Math IIC in my pocket and I m confident that I can score a 770+ on all of them, I'm just self studying stupid Bio for MIT and CIT :(

I've not even read Barrons once and I'm taking the test in October. More than half of the book is new for me.

I don't see why you guys are stressing out.
I'm not the brightest child, I sleep through class, and I don't do any homework. The week prior to the test, all I did was play video games, yet I did pretty well.

Just read though the books, and review; stressing out will only cause you to do worse.

im here, but i have my book (PR) and i need a 750+
and havent started studying at all (but im takin in november)

yup im taking it in november, along with my math IIC

It only takes about 2 weeks to study for a 750+.
the material is very easy to understand.

I'm taking it in Nov with Math2 also.

I took Bio in 9th grade, I'm currently taking AP Bio.

I have Barrons, PR, and CliffsAP lol.

I'm not stressed out.

I want 770+

Big woop for the bio club! I'm in. Don't have my books yet though.. I'm broke. Eek.

But yeah.. going for the November test date, so I have most of September to focus on the SAT Reasoning whatnots in October.

What are you guys thinking with regards to E or M?

Cliffs AP Bio 3rd Edition worked really well for me...I read it cover to cover and I got a 5 on AP on 800 on Bio E.

I have no idea about E or M. I don't even know much about BIO (YET)!! Are there any differences between the editions of Cliffs AP?

And how long should I study with these books?

just received my PR book, MAn this book is HUGE. Should i start studying now? taking it in NOV.

I need to order my books... I think I'll go for Biology E in October or November. M seems harder (to me).

Hopefully, AP Bio will help somewhat over two months.

take m
it's easier than e
i personally got 790

each person has a different opinion.
I found E easier

i signed up for e, started the e section, changed my mind, erased my answers and grid, did M and still got 780 :D

i gave up trying to self study. too difficult (for me)

haha got my books (Barron's) in the mail yesterday. Bio M in october with Math I
