<p>I got a BA in Chemistry since I met the requirements for both eons ago. Science majors can be just as broadly educated as well.</p>

<p>One can argue that there is more assurance that someone who graduated with a bachelor’s degree from MIT has gotten a broad liberal arts education than someone who graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Amherst, Brown, or Grinnell.</p>
