For all the RDers this year: what did you select as your major?

also, what's the most popular at Harvard?
Thanks :)

Economics ;)

I was undecided. According to the Princeton Review, Psychology, Economics, and Government are the three most popular concentrations.

Ohh snap, I chose Social Sciences :)

Mathematics

Biological Sciences

Humanities.

Just for reference, what does psychology fall under for the Harvard Supplement since it did not allow picking specific majors but simply the field?

^social sciences

I want to major in sociology, so I also picked social sciences.

Are you sure it’s not in humanities? ^

[Sociology Handbook for Students 2010-2011](http://isites.harvard.edu:80/icb/icb.do?keyword=k69286&pageid=icb.page348598&pageContentId=icb.pagecontent721688&state=maximize&viewParam_amp;amp;amp;view=view.do&viewParam_amp;amp;amp;name=Sociology)

Nope, it definitely looks more like a social sciences concentration.

Haha fledgling I was talking about Psychology. Sociology is definitely a social science field but I was slightly unsure about psychology. Anyone know?

Psychology is also a social science. Humanities is moreso languages, arts, music, history, etc.

I selected Humanities, and I’m thinking English.

I agree, psychology is almost definitely a social science and even has a scientific element.

I want to be an Economics major. :)

Engineering

There were four choices available, correct?
They were: Social Sciences, Humanities, Biological Sciences, and one other…

Well, so far the breakdown of those who’ve responded are:
Social Sciences - 2
Humanities - 3
Economics - 2
Biological Sciences - 1
Mathematics - 1
Undecided - 1

:)please copy & paste the above when you add your own

I’m pretty sure there were only two would-be Humanities concentrators (me and useyourname).

Physics :D

Edit: @ Rainbow I believe the other would be natural sciences (math, chem, physics)
