Ok, this is my question:
For an international, is better the SAT or the ACT ?
I believe the second one, ‘cause I’m very well at science at Mate and ‘cause there are less "vocabulary knowledge" then in the SAT ?
What do you advice me ?
Another question: Some universities want some SAT subject test… But if I take the ACT I have to do these tests? And cuold I take only the SAT subject test if I take the ACT ?

– I don’t think it is possible to generalize about SAT vs. ACT for international students any more than it is for U.S. students. I suppose one could argue that since the ACT is 50% quantitative (Science and Math vs. English and Reading) and the SAT only 33% quantitative (Math vs. Critical Reading and Writing) non-native English speakers might prefer the ACT, but in truth preference is highly individualistic. My advice is to try samples of both and see what you think. In reality results for students who take both tests show a strong statistical correlation.

If you do take the ACT, don’t forget to take the Writing part, too. Writing is an optional part of the ACT which many schools require. (Writing is a non-optional part of the SAT Reasoning test.)

– It is best to check the admissions policies of each school in which you might be interested, because there is no universal test requirement policy among U.S. schools. Most colleges and universities do not require the SAT Subject tests and will accept either the SAT Reasoning test by itself or the ACT by itself. And of those schools that require or prefer to see subject tests many will accept the ACT by itself instead of a combination of SAT Reasoning and Subject tests. But there are exceptions, so you’ll need to do some research. You can start your research with this link:

– You can take only the SAT Subject tests without taking the SAT Reasoning test, if you wish. You should also be aware that you cannot take the SAT Reasoning tests and Subject tests on the same day. You’ll need to take these on at least two different days (if not more) if you want to take both.
