Squizz sir,
You have resuscitated a death thread. I doubt the person that posted here, two years ago, needs the advice.

I am taking 20 units this semester, 4 are short term classes, which makes this possible, but it is a lot. I am tired. I am at a CC/JC though, but i have a part time job too. It is doable, if you like the classes and/or the classes are a piece of cake.

@ccnube, you’ve revived a thee year old thread!

I am taking 20 units this semester, specifically English (comp and lit), Physical Geography, Physical Geography lab, spanish 2, Art, and Pre Calc. Im doing well in all my classes. Pre calc is the only class that I really have to work at (lots of homework, tests and etc). It really depends on which classes you take and how you can manage your time. But I must admit that right now I am already burnt out and its only the middle of the semester, lol. And having 3 midterms on one day was not fun…

what do you guys think UC’s think when they see this? Particularly for classes in the spring? since its the final semester.
I took 22 units in a semester before, but I didn’t work during that time. It was hell. I’d forget to brush my teeth and shower sometimes… @DannyOcean I don’t think the UCs will think anything of it. As long as you finish all those classes needed to transfer.
I’m sure it looks promising to them but they’re not going to read too much into it, especially because they’ll have to send you a letter of admission before they can even see how well you do. If it was earlier than spring it might mean a bit more but even then it probably doesn’t help all that much.
