My APUSH teacher told me that he has a hunch that it might appear (last year he guessed Vietnam and it came up). Yeah, I just wanted to share that.

I doubt 20th century would be used consecutively. Many people are speculating Lincoln / civil war or Jackson.

bumpppppp.

Guys, let’s be real. You cannot predict the FRQ or DBQ topics accurately. It’s not even worth the time.

I agree with kiterunner.

Also, the FRQ is rarely in the same “portion” of the time as the DBQ…it’s usually APUS I/APUS II split.

Predicting has worked for some of my high school teachers in the past. This year there’s a joint prediction amongst all of the APUSH teachers that one of the FRQ’s is going to be on the progressive era or trusts and monopolies (Carnegie, Rockefeller, Sherman Anti-Trust, ICC).

I do find it interesting that there’s a different prediction in every school. While prediction is really only simple statistics, accuracy is another story.

Show me statistical evidence that proves a teacher can accurately predict the question year-to-year. I don’t buy it. I agree with RC-- USH in terms of DBQs and FRQs are divided among APUSH I and APUSH II. But actually getting a topic right is a guessing game that I would rather not play.

I was right.I win. :)

Doesn’t WW2 usually almost always comes up? It is pretty significant.

FYI, the history teachers at my school guessed about the 1968 free response question last year because they noticed it was the 40th anniversary and the college board likes to do stuff like that. I owned that essay thanks to them.
