<p>any insights on either situation- single-sex vs. a mix of male/female? i really can't decide, and i was wondering if a current Dartmouth student who's experienced either situation could give me advice! thanks in advance!</p>

<p>Its not a big deal either way. Most floors in the older buildings are designed such that there are wings of all guys or all girls but they are on the same floor so there is a lot of interaction. Similarly, the newer dorms have private bathrooms situated along the floor so there is no awkwardness or whatnot.</p>
